Maestro Dobel Tequila Shares the Spirit of Modern Mexico at Frieze Los Angeles February 17-20

Maestro Dobel Tequila, creators of the world’s first Cristalino, brings Artpothecary, a creative platform that celebrates contemporary Mexican art and hospitality to Los Angeles.  As the Official Tequila of Frieze, Maestro Dobel Artpothecary will present the final iteration of ‘The Fruit Chemist’ at this year’s fair February 17-20, 2022, a sensory bar experience inspired by Mexico’s traditional apothecaries, in which rare and unusual Mexican fruits are paired to complement Maestro Dobel’s smooth range of tequilas.

Artpothecary Creative Director Alejandra Martinez and Maestro Dobel will be spotlighting the best of Mexican artisanry, engaging Mexico City-based contemporary furniture and design studio ATRA FORM in collaboration with fellow Mexican visual artist and designer Paolo Montiel-Coppa.  Together the two will create an immersive Fruit Chemist-inspired space that invokes a positive mood through light and changing colors for all attendees and passersby.

Born from 11 generations of tequila-making legacy, Maestro Dobel Diamante was the first Cristalino to market and continues to innovate as a modern-day tequila, has since introduced the world’s first smoked silver tequila with Humito and the first pechuga tequila with Pavito. Just as Dobel champions innovation in its tequilas, the brand recognizes those who share the same level of commitment and expertise and mastery.

A true champion of Modern Mexico, Maestro Dobel Artpothecary celebrates this eternal pursuit for innovation, recognizing and supporting fellow Mexican creative visionaries and makers who look to the past to push the boundaries in their respective crafts.
