Independent Artists Spotlight: 10STACKZ

10STACKZ is an ascending independent artist hailing from Birmingham, AL. As an artist, he has big plans and he prides himself on his spectacular live performances. His career has been full of highlights to this point but right now the focus is on his latest release, his EP ‘I Am Not Them’.

With this new release out we took some time to catch up with the emcee to find out more about it what’s up next for him.

Kicking off our conversation, we wanted to know what song of his was his favorite. Here is what he told us.

“I have several favs because I like to make fun music but if I had to break it down I would say my single ‘Look Back at It’”.

We know it’s not an easy question. If you’ve ever created anything you that it’s hard to pick just one favorite. With that said, ‘Look Back at It’ is a strong choice. The track uses a familiar sample, it incorporates a nice mix of melody and rapping, and the song has an incredible vibe. Within seconds of the track starting, you’ll be moving to it and smiling along.

Along the same line of talking about his favorite song, we wanted to know what the best moment of his career has been to this point. Here’s what he shared with us.

“The best moment of my career so far is opening for Lil Baby New Generation Tour with the City Girls, 42 Dugg in the Carolinas. The shows in Charlotte, Raleigh, and Myrtle Beach at the Ritz, Fillmore, and the House of Blues were all sold out.”

As we mentioned earlier, 10STACKZ is an act that you can’t miss live. Also, a can’t miss is the new EP, ‘I Am Not Them’.

The EP is a 5 track hard-hitting release that show of 10STACKZ’s lyricicsm, flow, and versatility. Each song displays it’s own unique sound while still sounding quintessentially his and showcasing his abilities as a song writer. With a hot new EP out, we wanted to know what was next for 10STACKZ.

“Next for me is to get back to touring and to keep putting out timeless music.”

Straight and too the point, we love it. It really embodies who he is as an artist. No fluff, no gimmicks. Just high-quality, great music, and a live performance that leaves fans wanting more and more.

In getting to know 10STACKZ and exploring his music catalog we have become big fans of him as an artist and his mission. His singular focus is to let his music and his art speak for themselves. When you put that much effort and passion into your craft it’s easy to see why the finished product is so incredible.

“Music lovers should check me out because just like the title of my EP I am Not Them. I’m fun, I have a good personality, and I put that in my music.”
