The Hype Magazine got Fresh Da Zoe to weigh in on a few things

How have you developed your lyrical style and flow?

I used to write a lot way before music but in my head I would turn them into songs. The way I speak is the way I rap so that’s not difficult at all, especially when you’re telling your own story. I usually write without a beat as I’m writing the flow is coming and trust me it’ll go on any beat, but “VOODOO FLOW”, the beat was talking to me so the inspiration came quicker

In what ways do you hope to connect with fans through your music?

Emotional ways, I want to touch they soul I know what I look for when I listen to a song and I know how they music makes me feel I try to give that same feeling to my fans I’ve been through a lot in my life and I know my story isn’t much different to my fans that’s why I be giving them music so they can think, dance, and relate to.

How do you bring the vision of the song alive through your music videos?

I know exactly what I be talking about although it might not be clear to some people the video is always the next chapter to the story make them see what was unclear to them without letting them forget about where I’m from.

Can you tell us the inspiration behind “Voodoo Flow”?

“Voodoo Flow” was a better version of my last song “No Sleep” which was a lil more personal so I went and did “Voodoo Flow” to let them know I’m up now and we can do better and bigger soon as the best drop I knew I had to go crazy.

What major projects do you have planned that fans can anticipate?

I’m still working I have a lot of songs I’m still thinking if I should give them singles, Eps, or an album, but one thing is for sure, we’re working to give them something Fresh and bigger every time we drop some new song. on the way and please go follow me on IG, FB , Twitter @freshdazoe.
