Philadelphia-Bred Black Watch Designer Emir Horton is Redefining Luxury

For Black watch designer and Founder of Eartha Watch Company, success is not an option, it’s a responsibility. As the country’s youngest black luxury watch brand creator, he insists that time is a luxury. His brand represents black resilience and excellence, by focusing on empowering the next generation of visionary leaders. Styled with elegancy and simplicity, the brand caters to innovators and leaders desiring to put forth an image of authentic class.

Founded in 2020 during the pandemic, Horton felt called to create a luxury black-owned timepiece that represented the connection between time and carrying out the mission. “Eartha watches serve as a reminder of the rich resource of time which we all have been given to reach our highest potential. Our aim is to leave a legacy of luxury, excellence and above all things, service.”

Earth Watch Company was crafted with the intention of creating a legacy, as Horton named the brand after his Grandmother Eartha. The 20-something-year-old entrepreneur is determine to realize his vision with purpose and drive, and he recently launched a crowdfunding campaign to further expand the brand. Hailing from Philadelphia, PA, the Delaware State University graduate is on a mission to make luxury more attainable, and is focused on fighting against the cycle of poverty by inspiring others to achieve their own economic freedom and legacy. Emir is a firm believer that luxury should be accessible to all.
