Mohamed Rashid, Proving That Success is Not Just One Thing

The world is a much different place today than it was 10 years ago. Thanks to modern technology, you can now practice multiple professions and succeed in all of them. Mohamed Rashid is perfect proof of that. A successful YouTuber and music producer, Rashid uses his multiple skills to make a living, showing there are many ways to succeed in today’s economy. With these two skills combined, Rashid has managed to build an online empire with close to 1M subscribers on his social platforms. His videos have attracted millions of views, and his latest venture, music production, is also thriving. Rashid reports thousands of fans have streamed his music, a feat he never thought he could ever achieve in his life.

A few years ago, Rashid’s resume was not as impressive as it is today. Though he has always been interested in music, he never thought that would be his career path. When he discovered social media and became active on it at around 14, he didn’t realize he was sitting on a goldmine. However, that soon changed when Rashid’s Instagram page started to grow. As more fans appreciated his content, Rashid took his work seriously and diversified his content creation.

Besides Instagram, Rashid started creating content for YouTube, Snapchat, Twitch, and TikTok. Popularly known as Chatmo on social platforms, Rashid is renowned for his street interviews, game videos, and live streams. Chatmo’s two YOuTube channels are dedicated to specific content to distinguish between them; one contains game videos and the other a compilation of his street interviews. However, he posts inspirational content on both.

The content Chatmo creates, and the audience it attracts have not gone unnoticed. As a result, he has received multiple industry awards from different authorities. In 2020, Chatmo emerged in second place as the best newcomer during the Dutch Stream Awards after only three months on the platform. His work has also attracted the attention of news outlets and industry leaders, leading to many interviews in reputable publications and on various YouTube channels.

On the music side of his career, Chatmo’s success was mostly based on his YouTube success. While creating content for his channels, Chatmo discovered that music vastly improved the final product. Determined to make gripping videos with great atmosphere and tension, Chatmo went to work and learned music production. The process was incredibly challenging in the beginning, but he was determined to see it through it. Chatmo experienced similar difficulty when he first began creating content for YouTube and prevailed, so he was prepared to face the challenges head-on.

After being consistent and committed for several months, Chatmo gained top-notch skills that allowed him to create awesome music for his videos. He drew inspiration from different musicians and producers and made great music that improved his YouTube videos. In March 2021, Chatmo took his music career a step further by creating and releasing his first EP. The artist drew inspiration for that music from prominent producers and artists such as Polo G, Lil Tjay, Stunna Gambino, Lil Baby, and more. Chatmo’s second EP, “Beats by Chatmo V2,” is currently available on music streaming platforms Spotify, Deezer, Apple Music, and Tidal.

Chatmo’s vision is to keep growing as an artist and content creator and inspire more people to pursue their passions. His goal is to create more music, stay on top of new trends in the industry, and collaborate with big music personalities.
