The Grassroots Seminar and Showcase Tour Hits The Road

Innovative music initiative, Grassroots Seminar and Showcase Tour, continues to travel across cities nationwide

William Rinehart, the C.E.O. of Come Clean Empire LLC., created the Grassroots Seminar and Showcase Tour to break the disconnect developing within the music industry by creating a platform that brings together all major stakeholders and offers ways of developing a solid future. The project has continued to gain traction, following a successful kickoff with a “Networking Party” in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and the subsequent session at Gary, Indiana and Louisville, Kentucky.

Music world has evolved over the years, as more acts and businesses emerge to deliver great content to listeners. Unfortunately, a disconnect has gradually developed, especially within hip hop, rock and R&B, stalling the development in the music business. While technology has broken boundaries and enabled acts to reach their target audience, more needs to be done to establish and strengthen the relationship between artists, DJs, and other members of the multi-billion-dollar music industry. Consequently, William Rinehart has taken the bull by the horn, collaborating with other notable names in the industry to create Grassroots Seminar and Showcase Tour.

The Grassroots Seminar and Showcase Tour aims to use open dialogue, workshops, and key influence to educate and unite artists and other players in the game to make music industry great gain. The likes of Shaun Ross the Head A&R of No Limit Records, Jameelah “Just Jay” Wilkerson CEO of The Hype Magazine, Chill of Come Clean Empire, Tony Merritt of Tony Star Media, DJ Flash of Chicago very own 106.3, and industry consultant, Tony Jordan, have graced the event as panelists. There are also plans to include Big Heff from Def Jam, 300 Ent, and Capital Structure, also Shamika Bottom of  Wu Tang Management, and a huge host of others to the list.

The goal of the Grassroots Music Seminar and Showcase Tour is to help everyone understand the music business and their respective roles. It will address key industry issues, such as publishing, copyright laws, and encoding, amongst others. The project will also tackle subjects that seminars have traditionally stayed away from as well as address “Mental Health In Hip Hop.” In a related development, Grassroots Music Seminar and Showcase Tour is partnering with a non-profit who is also the title sponsor “Supportive Guidance” to offer counseling services to those who may be suffering from a mental health issue. The event is being filmed for a TV series to be shown by the CaribVision Cable TV Network which stretches out to 26 countries and over 12 million households. There is also a grand prize for the finals of the showcase being held in Atlanta Ga, with the winner getting over 15k in promo services and an All-Expense Paid Trip of 5 days and 4 nights to Barbados courtesy of CaribVision and Come Clean Empire.
