Jozzy Joins LA Black Pride Line Up and Links With Madonna Ahead of Forthcoming EP
In celebration of PRIDE month artist and songwriter, Jozzy, will be co-hosting and doing a brief performance for LA Black Pride’s upcoming event on Saturday, July 2 at Catch One. To top it off, Jozzy has also been spotted with the one and only Madonna for a session in Los Angeles. Jozzy has long been known for her incredible songwriting having credits with music’s A-listers, but is now working to show people what she can do as an artist.
Fresh off the heels of debuting her forthcoming single “Replay” on TV at the 2022 Billboard Music Awards, Jozzy is applying the pressure this summer and is slated to release her full EP in the fall on Sean “Diddy” Combs’ new R&B label LOVE RECORDS.

ABOUT JOZZY:
JOZZY is an LA-based Grammy Award winning, multi-platinum songwriter and artist originally from Memphis, TN. Jozzy has been long celebrated for her pen game, and was mentored by Timbaland and Missy Elliott. She’s the woman who wrote Billy Ray Cyrus’s verse on Lil Nas X’s Old Town Road [Remix], “Lemonade” by Internet Money and “Mr Right Now” by Metro Boomin & 21 Savage feat Drake. Jozzy has worked across all genres with everyone from Coldplay and Rihanna to The Weeknd. Recently she has been seen in the studio with Jesy Nelson, Pharrell, Usher, Diddy and the iconic Madonna – excited to see who will be featured on the up and coming project .
In addition to her songwriting, Jozzy has embraced her own artistry most recently signing a record deal with Diddy’s Love Records, while being Co-Managed by Roc Nation. Jozzy has also embraced activism; as an LGBTQ+, woman of color in the industry, she’s repeatedly spoken out about the issues she faces and her hope for more diverse voices to be recognized and positioned across leadership roles in all areas of the music industry. Generous with her time, she has volunteered with She Is The Music, including participating in workshops and student lectures.
