Amber Rose On Her Latest Singles “GYHO” And “Gotcha,” Working With Mannie Fresh, Musical Influences, Career Goals & More

Since first finding success close to 15 years ago as a model, Amber Rose has found success as an actress, entrepreneur, talk show host and reality show judge. Earlier this year, Rose entered the musical sphere as a performer, releasing the Mannie Fresh-produced single “GYHO.” Shortly after, on July 8, 2022, Rose released her second single — as also produced by Mannie Fresh — “Gotcha.”

On July 18, 2022, I had the pleasure of speaking with Amber Rose via Zoom, as embedded below. Besides “GYHO” and “Gotcha,” we talked about her influences as a performer, her professional aspirations within music, and how she found as a career as an influencer before there was a proper term for that profession. Rose was every bit as warm, funny and intelligent as an interviewer could hope for an interview subject could be; music appears to be a long-term career focus for her.

More on Amber Rose and her musical endeavors can be found online by clicking here, here and here.
