Day 1: A Deep Dive into Hip Hop Culture

The happening kicked off with an intimate conversation at Rice University, where KRS-One engaged with over 100 students, community leaders, and alumni. During the 90-minute session, guests had the unique opportunity to participate in a live Q&A, getting up close and personal with the Hip Hop pioneer.

Day 2: A Journey Through Time

On day two, KRS-One sat down for a one-on-one on-camera conversation with Houston-based radio personality Rob G for the Legends Only podcast. From his early days in the industry to the present, KRS-One took listeners on a journey through each decade of his legendary career. The Legends Only Podcast, set to debut this Spring on all streaming platforms, promises to be a must-listen for Hip Hop enthusiasts.

The Finale: A Legendary Performance

The grand finale of the 3-day experience took place at Bar 5015 on historic Almeda Rd, where over 300 attendees gathered for a live outdoor performance. With his signature energy and charisma, KRS-One had the crowd rocking and vibing for 30 unforgettable minutes. Before taking the stage, he shared his excitement about a recent encounter with Scarface, who expressed how much KRS-One had inspired him. The surprise appearance of Mannie Fresh only added to the excitement of the evening.
