B-Boy Menno and B-Boy Stripes Reign Supreme at Red Bull Lords of the Floor 2024 in Seattle

The streets of Seattle shook with electrifying energy as breaking legends clashed in the epic showdown of the year at the 2024 Red Bull Lords of the Floor Competition. Amongst the chaos and frenzy, B-Boy Menno and B-Boy Stripes emerged as the undisputed champions, solidifying their status as breaking royalty.

Returning to its roots in Seattle after over two decades, Red Bull Lords of the Floor brought together a constellation of stars, with none other than the hilarious Jo Koy holding down emcee duties and the legendary Common setting the stage ablaze with his musical prowess. The WAMU Theater in Seattle was the battleground where sixteen dynamic duos of b-boys and b-girls unleashed their gravity-defying moves, flawless footwork, and mind-bending freezes, all vying for the coveted title of Red Bull Lords of the Floor.

The historic event was not just a celebration of breaking’s past but also a glimpse into its future, with the art form set to make its debut on the world’s grandest sporting stage in the coming months.

In an epic clash of titans, B-Boy Menno and B-Boy Stripes emerged victorious in a final showdown against the formidable duo of Lil G and Alvin. With their groundbreaking and innovative style, Menno and Stripes left an indelible mark on the competition, earning them the esteemed title of 2024 Red Bull Lords of the Floor champions.

Reflecting on their monumental win, Menno expressed, “There were a lot of people in the original Red Bull Lords of the Floor line-up that I looked up to when I was younger. This is one of the most iconic competitions I can be a part of, so it has a different value to me than any other battle. I was just happy to touch that stage.”

Stripes, echoing the sentiment of breaking enthusiasts worldwide, reminisced, “This is one of the first breaking competitions I had ever seen. I would watch the clips of the first Red Bull Lords of the Floor on my school computer. The fact that the competition came back was already enough. Even if I wasn’t in it, I would still be hype that it’s back.”
