Cadillac Shorty is Reviving Street Style Rapping With ‘Bad News’

Music has always connected with listeners’ minds, either soothing or inspiring them. The artist’s expression makes its way into the listeners’ hearts through their music. Cadillac Shorty is one such hip-hop artist who never fails to connect with people through his music. He draws inspiration for his rap lyrics through his real-life experiences, which comprise the culture and street lifestyle across Florida. This unique take on hip-hop reflecting a whole culture has quickly separated Cadillac Shorty from other rappers in the industry.

Cadillac Shorty hails from a humble background, and this is reflected clearly in his music. The young hip-hop artist lived in different neighborhoods across Florida while growing up. And this experience helped him understand the street culture of each place from a closer angle. He discovered his passion for hip-hop from a very young age and chose to express his thoughts through music.

Unlike other rappers who create lyrics through brainstorming, Cadillac‘s lyrics are what he lives by. He is a true example of the popular saying, “I’m living what I’m rapping.” He considers his music his life and lives how he raps. Cadillac’s debut drop, a music video, went viral on social media, earning over 5 million views. The song paved the way for Cadillac into the mainstream music industry.

His debut song ranked among the top music tracks on World Star Hip Hop at R.I.P Q and maintained the position for a week. Cadillac also won the Video of the Year title in the Best in Florida Awards for the same video at FNF. This marked the beginning of Cadillac’s solid career in the live music scene. He performed at the second annual Forgiato Fest alongside popular artists like Currency, Meek Mill, Stally, Ball Greezy, Brisco, Briana Perry, and others.

Cadillac’s single “No Visits” is an emotional melody that has struck a chord with every listener. It became a song for people from all walks of life. Following the popularity of “No Visits” on digital streaming platforms, Cadillac performed the song featuring Billy Blue live at Papa Keith’s People Matters Fest. He also appeared in interviews on two renowned radio stations in Miami, namely 99 Jamz and 103.5 The Beat.

Cadillac is a self-proclaimed habitual hustler. He has big dreams and is willing to grind to fulfill each of them. Cadillac has never limited his talent to the music industry. As he started earning as an artist, Cadillac began investing in real estate. This made him financially independent quite early in his career. Now, Cadillac lives the life he wants and also bought a yacht before turning 30.

Last year, Cadillac dropped an album titled “Habitual Hustler 2,” which reflected a slice of his life as a real hustler. The album has electrifying singles like “Swerve,” featuring Gank Gaank, and “Steppin,” featuring the Opa Locka Goon himself. “Habitual Hustler 2” became a roaring success within a few weeks of its release. The songs pictured the iconic culture of Florida in the backdrop, which further resonated with people and their general lifestyles.

Cadillac Shorty has already accomplished a series of milestones in his career, but he has no plans to stop now. He is self-motivated to continue grinding and release more unique and fresh music for his fans. He wants to be counted as an A-lister in the music industry and an inspiration to aspiring artists who want to hustle.
