The Dirty 3rd: Next Generation Soundtrack Brings Houston Legends Together For a Historic Street Anthem

8 Queens Film & Media Productions, 7 Kings Entertainment, & Wreckshop Records crafted The Great Collaboration soundtrack for the sequel film The Dirty 3rd: Next Generation. Their first single, “Gangsta,” will feature appearances from Propain, Slim Thug, OTB Fast Lane, and Boston George. This alliance has never been done before and is epic for the “South.”

OTB Fastlane created a catchy melodic hook you can’t stop humming. Propain and Slim Thug are true lyricists out of this world. Last, but not least, Boston George has a deep baritone flare with a street edge. Ultimately, their attributes and wordplay make for an astonishing single.

The Dirty 3rd: Next Generation stems from the original film and reveals how the main character, “Street,” graduates from street-level hustling. His quest to become a legitimate businessman becomes a reality, which rewards him with a safe and peaceful lifestyle. New challenges and drama await him when his loved ones reemerge in his life. His close friend “Sonny Bobo” returns home from a long stint in prison and his estranged grandson “Zaire” comes back. Unbeknownst to Street, he is no longer a wide-eyed kid. This movie premieres on November 16th in memory of Houston Legend DJ Screw.

The soundtrack also features music by Lil Keke, Sauce Walka, GSO Phat, Yungeen Ace, Z-Ro, David Banner, DJ XO, DJ Chose, Lil Flip, Eddie Coke, Big Pokey, HeavO, Yung Al, GGO Kurt, Kirko Bangz, Killa Kyleon, Daryl “Dgotti” Monroe, Tyte Eyes, Savannah, Ebodi, GMB, Fat On Da Beat, Towhid, Biggs, DeLorean, Air Keezy, AVO, Pugtunes, N.O. Joe, Spuf Don, Jvoti, Special Eddie, Peso Peso, and 2nd Prez. The hot single “Gangsta” from the Dirty 3rd: Next Generation Album dropped on all platforms on October 14th.

The all-star soundtrack team members are executive producers Propain, Derrick “D-Reck” Dixon, Noah Rankin, and Dr. Kaeita Rankin. The project also includes soundtrack coordinator Derrick “Noke D” Haynes, engineer Bruce Bang, and film scoring and sound producer N.O. Joe with Gumbo Funk Production. The soundtrack is available on all platforms November 17th.
