The 2023 JUNO Awards – Canada’s Music Awards

The 2023 Juno Awards Hosted by Simu Liu introduced the All Star performance that included Dream Warriors, Choclair, Michie Mee, Tobi, and Dj Mel Boogie. This performance celebrated the 50 years of Hip Hop in Canadian music. The Weeknd picked up 6 wins for artist of the year; songwriter of the year; single of the year for “Sacrifice”; and pop album for Dawn FM. Montreal duo Banx & Ranx  took home a Juno for best breakthrough group of the year, and performed their hit “Headphones” with stellar Montreal artist Reve. Jessie Reyez brought home the award for Contemporary R&B recording while Avril Lavigne won the TIKTOK Juno Fan Choice award. Nickelback was entered into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and ended the 2023 JUNO Awards performing their hits “Rockstar”, “How You Remind Me”, and “Animals”. The 2024 JUNOS are set to be brought to Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.
