Brooklyn Rapper HDBeenDope Named ‘Bet Amplified’ Artist For April
The Hype Magazine has been rocking with this artist heavily since 2019 and our early warning has borne fruit. BET has named Roc Nation rapper HDBeenDope as its BET Amplified artist for April! BET Amplified is BET Music’s stamp of approval for the next big thing in music. Huge congratulations are in order for this hard-working young lion.
The big news was delivered in a statement from his team:
HDBeenDope’s rocketship to success shows no signs of stopping any time soon. As one of the most energetic performers in the rap game right now, with over 20 million YouTube video streams and over 700k monthly Spotify listeners, it is no surprise that this rising star was picked up by Roc Nation in 2022. HD has been featured on the “2022 BET Hip Hop Awards,” spotlighted in MTV’s #AloneTogether Jam Session, Hot97’s Who’s Next Platform, Rolling Stone’s On Your Radar; the list goes on.
HDBeenDope has cultivated the public support of music co-signers such as DJ Khaled and Rapsody. His newest single release, “Locked In” has amassed viral success over TikTok, garnering 8M+ streams. The single follows the rapper’s latest EP project, What Can They Say released late last year. The album’s lead track, “Mamba” has slowly become a celebrated anthem supported by actress and entrepreneur Tia Mowry, NBA Miami Heat player Jimmy Butler, major networks like ESPN, and sports stadiums across the country. HDBeenDope has been featured on some of the nation’s biggest stages from Rolling Loud NYC to representing his hometown during Brooklyn Nets’ halftime shows.
HDBeenDope can now also add BET Amplified Artist to his list of accolades. As a BET Amplified artist, HDBeenDope will receive BET Music’s support across multiple BET campaigns and platforms, including BET, BET Her, BET Jams, BET Soul, BET.com, BET Socials, and BET’s Official YouTube Page.
