Block Entertainment’s Rap Heir BBA Trigga Makes Album Debut With ‘Trigganometry’ EP Trilogy
The legacy of the Southern music mecca continues as a new generation of Gen-Z hip-hop stars emerges to carry the torch. Among them is Atlanta-based Block Entertainment’s rising rap prodigy, BBA Trigga, who aims to make his mark with a bold proclamation through his heavy-hitting southern drill sound. In BBA Trigga’s highly-anticipated debut trilogy album titled Trigganometry (RED Vol. 1, GREEN Vol. 2, BLACK Vol. 3), the 19-year-old freestyle artist delivers powerful street commandments for earning respect and success.
Distributed by J. Erving’s Human Re-Sources/The Orchard, the Trigganometry trilogy EP collection features an exclusive lineup of undiscovered talent and multi-platinum producers, including heavyweights Zaytoven (Gucci Mane, Usher, Future, Migos), Drumma Boy (Young Dolph, Chris Brown, Yo Gotti, Master P), Stacks, Goose (Young Thug, Rich Homie Quan) and more. With a fast-paced, the debut EP compilation kicked off with the August 4 drop of RED Vol. 1, where BBA Trigga lays out his rule book for “standing on business.” On August 18, the subsequent GREEN Vol. 2 focuses on anthems about getting money. The ground-breaking trilogy culminates with BLACK Vol. 3 expected in September, offering epic songs to keep the ladies dancing and provide a glimpse into the freestyle genius’ mind.
BBA Trigga, born and raised in eastside Atlanta by way of Kirkwood, was raised by the principle of “standing on business,” and has lived it since his release from a correctional facility in 2020. While doing his time, the young artist used music as fuel for the fire and began honing his skills as a lyricist. BBA Trigga pulls from his experiences in both the music industry and the streets of Atlanta to give a brutally honest and cinematic window into his world. “When it comes to respect, I’ll always remain humble, but we’re gonna stand toe to toe as equals,” insists Trigga. “Standing on business means, you better be prepared to back up what you say. I’m gonna always keep it 100.”
On the hip-hop scene for a mere 18 months, BBA Trigga has already received a plethora of media attention from renowned outlets such as AllHipHop, The Hype Magazine, HipHopSince1987, Thisis50, Earmilk, and Substream Magazine for previous releases such as “Limpin,” “Bankroll,” and “Poppa Perc.” BBA Trigga is well on his way to carving a name for himself in the hip-hop industry.
