Meet Lay Bankz, Philly’s 19-year-old viral sensation tearing through the club scene

Gliding on club instrumentals often produced by her frequent collaborator JUMBO, Lay stands out as she maintains a paced flow while showing off her R&B songwriting chops. On songs like the Pitchfork-praised “In My Bag,” Bankz’s dreamy vocals sync perfectly with the accelerating drums. Don’t be fooled by her harmonious vocal skills – her On The Radar performance is proof positive that she can also blow you away with her energetic raps. She’s currently making waves with her enticing banger “Na Na Na,” the pop-sampling heater that has TikTok creators dancing across the platform. To date, the song boasts over 5.3M+ global streams, over 182K+ TikTok creations, and named a potential Song of the Summer 2023 candidate by The FADER. Filmed in Miami during spring break, the official music video has reached over 800k+ views, with over 26k YouTube shorts creates.

Emerging onto the scene with her mastery of regional dance moves like Philly’s “blick”, Lay Bankz grew a cult-like social media following as a dancer.
