The striking video for “When You A Rare Bird,” shot in Atlanta, GA, and produced by HRTRBK, brbko, and Tyler himself, draws inspiration from Southern Hip Hop icons like Cash Money, Lil Boosie, and Three 6 Mafia, with influences from UK grime and garage. Tyler’s portrayal of a bird in a jungle-like environment serves as a metaphor for the challenges of individuality in a conformist society.

Describing his sound, Tyler reflects on his Caribbean roots, drawing inspiration from his Martinique heritage and the rich traditions of raggamuffin music, a precursor to rap closely tied to dancehall.
