Who Is Destinee Milian?

In true fairy tale fashion, the exotic small town girl Destinee Milian moved from Portland, Oregon to Miami, Florida to pursue her modeling and acting dreams. Discovered at the tender age of three by a scout at a local mall, Destinee landed jobs modeling for Nordstrom catalogs. Due to her young age, however, Destinee’s parents turned down a series of jobs with Nordstrom so Destinee could decide her own destiny. Destinee went to elite private schools her whole life where she was active in cheerleading, dance, and ballet. Destinee grew to love fashion, magazines, and music videos; on her free time Destinee attended performing art programs such as John Casa Blanca, Adventures in Television, drama clubs and more.

Since moving to Miami Destinee has begun to fill up her resume through ripping the runway in local fashion shows to music videos with today’s top artist such as Bobby Valentino, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, Plies, Drake, and more. Destinee is probably best known for her role in the Donell Jones music video “Forever.” With her eyes on the prize Destinee’s not stopping anytime soon.

She plans to embrace her passions and do more videos as well as break into television, commercials and advertising print work.

In 2014 Destinee was honored by Urban Model Awards being voted Video Vixen of the year, also shot a pilot for a reality show that is currently being shopped to other networks. Recently Destinee appeared on VH1’s “She Got Game” reality show featuring hip hop artist The Game. Currently Destinee is creating a webisode called Wake and Bake. Wake and Bake will be a series of webisodes where Destinee will teach viewers how to make her favorite dishes. Destinee is looking to further expand into acting, hosting, and more fashion projects.
