The Hype Magazine partners with Saon Media,Inc., The Orchard and Mics & Models for unique compilation album

Award winning publication The Hype Magazine, has joined forces with Azim Lateef’s Mics & Models, Saon Media & The Orchard (Sony Music Entertainment), to distribute collaborative albums featuring emerging artists in the music industry. The current deal is for a minimum three LP projects and up to 12 albums in 2016.

With new and innovative strategies, the joint venture will provide tools and resources to help artists all over the world achieve their goals and thrive in the music industry. Mics & Models believes that, Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) strategy is an important key to success in the digital marketplace. The company’s focus is to help artists engage with their fans using every marketing medium, whether via music videos, radio, magazine placement or synch opportunities.

Key services provided by the joint venture include, digital distribution, music video distribution, digital design and social media marketing. “Mics & Models, Inc and Saon Media, Inc. are excited to expand our focus and services with The Hype Magazine, ensuring a partnership that will establish artists all over the world” says Lateef.

The opportunity will be absolutely free to artists who submit and are accepted for the compilation series. The Orchard is a division of Sony Music Entertainment and will be the exclusive distribution channel for the series.

The Hype Magazine, which publishes an annual #OfficialHype 2.0 “Next to Blow” Interview Series during each holiday season, will offer 2015 artists, the opportunity to be included in the inaugural compilation slated for release early 2016.

#OfficialHype 2.0 is dedicated to emerging artists, often neglected by other main stream media outlets and celebrates the independent artist.
