As Detroit-based, 23-year-old rapper/producer Chisom gears up to drop some raw rap in the form of his next EP Melo in May, the first-generation Nigerian American has graced us with another genre-bending ode to his homeland. This time, the recent Howard University grad raps and sings in ‪‎Igbo‬ and English, complementing Burna Boy’s ‪Yoruba‬ on a Hip Hop-meets-Dancehall remix to hit record “Soke”.
