SiriusXM’s ‘Artist Confidential’ featuring Wyclef Jean on protecting Hip Hop Culture

VH1 Hip Hop Honors has passed and opinions abound…both sides; detractors and supporters, have weighed in. No matter what side anyone is on, everyone can agree that Hip Hop has been life changing for many on a global scale and the creators/icons of THE CULTURE should be protected to the utmost. Here’s the official line on the interview:
Rapper, musician, and producer Wyclef Jean visited the SiriusXM studios for SiriusXM’s ‘Artist Confidential’ series. Wyclef spoke about his latest album, Carnival III: Fall and Rise of a Refugee, which features contributions from Emeli Sandé, Supah Mario, The Knocks Lunch Money Lewis and multi-platinum DJ/recording artist DJ Khaled, and on VH1’s Hip Hop Honors.

Wyclef on VH1’s Hip Hop Honors and protecting Hip Hop culture:
“…I have like my own personal opinion about Hip Hop Honors. I just feel like it’s so important that culturally, that we protect the icons in this super super right way…”
