Johnny The Jeweler and business partner, Grammy-nominated rapper Paul Wall, held a private anniversary party on Saturday, October 21, 2017. The Johnny Dang & Co. The brand was honored for their achievements, for their long-standing service to the Houston community, and for the one-year anniversary of their 14,000-square foot flagship store, Johnny Dang & Co., located at 6224 Richmond Ave. in Houston.

The $4.5 million complex was established from the ground upward, with painstaking attention to detail, including chandeliers, gold imported from Vietnam, and a warehouse where they create jewelry on site. The downstairs level showcased the brand’s custom diamond jewelry creations (including offerings from the line Fashcino Jewelry created by Johnny’s wife Jennifer and her sister Swan) and upstairs featured designer clothing and a rooftop deck. Guests enjoyed catered food, casino games with a grand prize of custom Cartier diamond-cut sunglasses, a full open bar sponsored by Hennessey, and sounds by 93.7 The Beat’s DJ Mr. Rogers.

Emcees for the evening included Emmy nominated Fox News anchor Jonathan Martin and CBS/KHOU meteorologist Chita Craft who presented Johnny Dang with a Congressional honor from Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee. Influencers including rapper Z-Ro, reporter Isiah Carey from Fox News, reporter Sherry Williams from CBS/KHOU, comedian Billy Sorrells from MTV’s Wild N’ Out, and rappers Lil’ KeKe and C. Stone the Breadwinner came out to support.
