Young Jiggy – Low

Young Jiggy begins taking hip-hop industry by storm at only age 17

LOS ANGELES, CA – People love to be around Young Jiggy. He is one of the most outgoing and likeable people you’ll ever meet, and his music exemplifies that “life of the party” type of vibe. His most recent single, “Low,” is a club banger that Young Jiggy said will be perfect for smoking weed, trapping and having a good time with friends. It’s a song that he said is the embodiment of his “young and wild and out” life, while also serving as a statement piece to the world that he’s coming up and ready to flex his muscle in the music industry.

“I’ve been trying to do this for awhile but I haven’t really known the right people in the market to get my name out there,” he said. “I’ve always been a people person, but people always fuck with my shit. They all know my love for foreign cars, bitches and money but I wanna make myself known. I’m not sure what exactly sets me apart from other people, but hopefully my personality and who I am will show that. I want to be like a Juicy J or Wiz Khalifa type rapper. Their raps are pretty versatile – from chill to more upbeat bangers. I like that persona and that’s what type of rapper I’m trying to be.”

Young Jiggy moved with his family to LA when he was only 3 months old, and has been there ever since. As a child he had two passions: basketball and hip-hop. He grew up watching Kobe Bryant and the LA Lakers, while also listening to Tupac, Dr. Dre, Eminem and Snoop Dogg. He said he idolized them because they represented the realization of his loftiest dreams. As he grew older and became taller – 6-foot- 2 – he focused more on basketball than rap, but at age 15 he wrote his first rap and never lost the thrill of that experience. Now at age 17, Young Jiggy is ready to let his passion for music trump his passion for basketball. “That’s what Young Jiggy is all about,” he said of the stage name he has chosen for himself. “It’s a personality and how everybody looks at me. It’s how I felt growing up and loving all those other rappers. Plus, people say I’m outgoing and a people person – though if you fuck with me, I’m not gonna be nice. My music fits that and describes me perfectly.”
