#Review Los Angeles Has Another One and His Name is JAG!
With all due respect to all the voices repping from the LA Hip Hop community, JAG is on a takeover roll! His unpolished baritone puts just the right punch behind the barz…and I do mean barz! Surrounded by signature West Coast sonics, playa delivers metaphorical cleverness and “make you rewind” wordplay as he serves up reality from his perspective. Is he the new ‘bard of the streets’? That has yet to be determined but what IS inarguable is that his awareness, skill and creativity is gaining support from major heads like Ty Dolla $ign and Trey Songz amongst others. Not to mention the fact JAG’s fearless truth telling about the plight of the everyday person walking the streets has got some folks on edge!
Here’s the official line on JAG’s latest upcoming project “2700” for which he recently released the artwork and dig the intro single from the project “The Nomo Years”:
JAG returns to our airwaves with the intro track to his 2700 EP with “The Nomo Yrs.” The jaunty new joint finds JAG in go-getter mode. Accompanied by an ultramodern visual, directed by Riveting Entertainment, the music video is simplistic yet dynamic all at the same time, sifting through imagery of glossy greenery, walkways, and variants of JAG’s likeness.

In case you missed it, last week JAG unveiled the cover artwork for his forthcoming 2700 EP. His brand new EP is set to feature Ty Dolla $ign, Trey Songz, Cozz, Honorable C Note, Bizness Boi, and more!
