Go backstage with Hop-Hop royalty at the Old Skool Spring Jam

The Hype Magazine was in the building with the best of the best in Old Skool Jams. Ready For The World (featuring Melvin Riley), Tone Loc, Michel’le, Coolio, Candy Man and Millan performed live on stage. The Hype Magazine’s Los Angles editor DJ LUOS sat down with radio host of 93.5 KDAY morning show Romeo for an exclusive interview. Romeo who hosted the Old Skool Spring Jam, talks about doing radio for 20 years, his podcast with The Goodfellas and Porscha Coleman, writing jingles and looking forward to seeing Melvin Riley and Michel’le hit the stage. It was definitely a night to remember with West Coast Hip-Hop royalty coming together for an amazing night of music. Backstage was filled with plenty of smiles and laughter as artists greeted one another and took photos together between performances.

The Hype Magazine brings you exclusive footage from the dressing room of (Singer/Songwriter) Millan and gives you a preview of her rehearsal on stage. We also had a chance to speak to (Actress) Porscha Coleman who always shows love to The Hype Magazine. Tone loc gives a shout out, and we were happy to get a few words from the always lovely Michel’le. Coolio killed his performance on stage with Gangster’s Paradise, and a tribute to Prince. Melvin Riley closed out the night with a performance of his hits with Ready For The World.
