Rosalía Announces El Mal Querer Tour

She’s “Latin Music’s breakout artist of the year” as described by Entertainment Tonight and on Tuesday, Award winning recording artist Rosalía has announced her first ever solo North American tour dates. Her visually stunning live performance will be in select cities across North America this Spring.

Last fall, Rosalía’s landmark album El Mal Querer was released to immediate critical and commercial success. The album’s groundbreaking fusion of classic Flamenco with R&B and electronic beats, coupled with Rosalía’s nod to the visual arts, fashion and choreography earned her six Latin Grammy nominations and two wins for Best Alternative Song and Best Urban Fusion Performance.

With a collaborative duet on James Blake’s new album, multiple Billboard Latin Music Award nominations and a forthcoming appearance in the new Pedro Almodóvar film “Dolor y Gloria” starring Oscar winner Penelope Cruz (which opens in theatres on March 22^nd), Rosalía’s fusion of traditional Catalán music culture and millennial bass love solidifies the singer’s presence in the industry as a force to recognize.

The “El Mal Querer Tour” kicks off on April 17^th in Los Angeles at the Mayan and will hit San Francisco, Toronto and New York City. The New York City date will be a part of the Red Bull Music Festival and marks one of the first shows at the newly reopened Webster Hall.
