Emilia Taneva is a Social Media Star on the Rise

Emilia Taneva’s story is as unconventional as it is amazing! Talk about living the American Dream. Taneva emigrated from her native Bulgaria to the United States when she got accepted into the University of Illinois at Chicago’s prestige’s dental school. Now, this gorgeous European import is an in-demand Orthodontist by day and mega-social media influencer in the luxury travel and lifestyle space by “night.”

She has managed to amass a whopping 650K Instagram followers in just a year and a half. While others’ find their social following sputtering, Taneva’s quick success is in her production value. “The biggest part of the work is in the hair, makeup, backdrop, wardrobe, lighting and shooting pictures. I treat it like a job,” she explains. “Each picture is a well-produced work of art, and people find my account.”

When she’s not making smiles beautiful as an orthodontist in the Chicago-land area, Emilia and her husband travel the globe, taking pictures for her growing online following. The Bahamas, French Polynesia, Hawaii, Japan, Croatia, Malta, Dubai, France, Italy and Greece are just a handful of the exotic locales chronicles on her IG account @bubbly.moments.

“Wherever we go, my husband and I try to balance romance, leisure time and sightseeing with our photo shoots. Sometimes we know where we are going to shoot, and sometimes we’re taken with a beautiful spot and have to make it work in the moment.”

Taneva is doing something right, with her posts typically getting 20K+ likes and at least 100 comments per post. In addition to her 30 corporate sponsorships as a social media influencer, Emilia’s lifestyle blog and homebase, BubblyMoments, allows her ardent followers to shop her Instagram posts and her luxe lifestyle.

Aside from her growing social media celebrity, this beauty has brains to spare, having taught orthodontics and dental genetics at her alma mater, The University of Illinois.
