Flow Alkaline Spring Water Announces Its U.S. Expansion With A New Source At Augusta County, Virginia’s Seawright Springs

Earlier in the year, I wrote about Flow Alkaline Spring Water as part of World Water Day coverage. Arguably the world’s fastest growing global wellness water, Flow Alkaline Spring Water offers naturally alkaline spring water while maintaining responsible business practices including sustainability and social good. The B-Corp Certified brand was founded in 2015 by Nicholas Reichenbach and its water is mindfully-sourced from the founder’s family-owned spring in Canada.

At the 39th annual Natural Products Expo West in Anaheim, California — the world’s largest natural, organic and healthy products event, where many brands opt to unveil their latest and greatest — goop CEO and founder Gwyneth Paltrow tested Flow’s innovative technology side-by-side with Flow CEO and founder Nicholas Reichenbach. This technology, as powered by MemoMi, was a unique augmented reality mirror. It was undoubtedly the first of its kind in the grocery space.

Adding to the growth of Flow Alkaline Spring Water, the naturally-alkaline mineral spring water is now sourced in the USA — in addition to Canada — providing U.S. Flow fans the same
delicious water they love with a smaller environmental footprint. Flow’s new source Seawright Springs is located in Augusta County, Virginia. The new U.S. source is virtually-identical to Flow’s Canadian spring for key indicators such as Calcium, Magnesium, Potassium, and Calcium Carbonate providing smooth, easy-drinking mineral spring water with a natural alkaline pH of 8.1.

Said Nicholas Reichenbach, Founder and CEO of Flow Alkaline Spring Water: “We are so grateful to have found such a unique source of naturally alkaline spring water in the beautiful state of Virginia, and to be able to further grow our mindful hydration business in the United States… By expanding production into the U.S., we are able to provide more naturally-alkaline spring water to our customers with our robust retail partners in a more efficient, sustainable, and timely manner. Our U.S. fanbase is extremely loyal and we’re honored to give them this heritage spring water that has the same amazing taste and functional alkaline benefits while further reducing our carbon footprint.”

Flow Alkaline Spring Water has seen a tremendous growth both at U.S. retail and direct-to-consumer e-commerce with Amazon as its fulfillment partner. The brand has experienced a 400 percent revenue growth year over year in the U.S. since 2018 with their consumer base going from 4.5 million to over 8 million consumers, with the majority of those consumers being in the U.S. More info on Flow Alkaline Spring Water can be found online at www.flowhydration.com.
