Future x Sounds™ Los Angeles to Take Place on August 31st

Future x Sounds™, a new multi-city music and arts series that invites artists, attendees, and society to question the world around them, is gearing up for the launch of Future x Sounds LA.

The city’s distinct and rebellious art will be presented through the eyes of 5x GRAMMY Award winning artist and activist Lalah Hathaway. In partnership with #REALMUSICREBELS, Hathaway has curated an event that will feature performances from not only the legend herself, but also rising stars Anna Wise, Justus West, DJ BATTLECAT and Gwen Bunn. The concert will take place on August 31, 2019 at the John Anson Ford Theatre in Los Angeles.

“There is something extraordinary about my community of music-makers. For a while, it was hard to find the words to describe my tribe: our art and our beliefs constantly fell outside genre boxes and industry norms,” said Hathaway. “In time, it became clear that it was our dedication to real music that connected us. Music rooted in real skill and real soul; music that means something.”
