BET Hip Hop Awards 2019: Green Carpet Recap

This past weekend, I covered the BET Hip Hop Awards that was taken place this year in Atlanta, Georgia at the Cobb Energy and Performance Center with The Hype Magazine CEO JustJay. The BET Hip Hop Awards is an award show that recognizes Hip Hop’s hottest and most influential individuals. Hip Hop’s biggest names walked the carpet, favorites like Lil Duval, who was the host for this year’s event, B.O.B, PeeWeeLongway, Blacc Youngsta DaBaby, Moneyman, Boosie Badazz, Young Dolph, YBN, CEO P Of Quality Control Music International artist Sarkodie, Lil Kim, who took home the IAmHipHop Award and more. This was my first carpet event, and to see the biggest names in Hip Hop today be under the same roof was a mind-blowing experience, and to attend the BET Awards taping and watch how things go was something that I have dreamed of because I’ve always watched award shows as a kid and I got this opportunity to capture this event.
