JiKay Unveils Leading Single ‘Everything Glos’ Ahead Of Album Debut

After some time out of the limelight, following a move across the pond to Los Angeles where he switched his focus full time to producing, British born JiKay returns with a new sound ahead of the release of his debut project ‘IN THE NIGHT’. Kicking off with leading single ‘Everything Glos’ , JiKay unveils a small snippet of the heat that is yet to come.

The melodic trap cut which has already garnered support on BBC Introducing kicks off with the vocals of LA based singer, songwriter and surfer, Cat Clark. An uplifting, empowering record about not succumbing to others expectations,’Everything Glos’encourages you to find your inner strength. Sonically, the song fuses a chopped-up piano with layers of synths, powerful drums and a hypnotic vocal mantra which repeats throughout.

JiKay is renowned for iconic records like ‘Pop It’, ‘Take Me’, ‘Thug Love’, the rework of Keys N Krates’ ‘Dum Dee Dum’ and also founding the All Trap Music YouTube channel in 2012, which went on to become a label and live events brand. His talent has not gone unnoticed, with JiKay picking up support from industry greats like MistaJam, Complex, Earmilk, BBC Radio 1Xtra, Trap
City and many more along the way.

Fast forward to today and the Nottingham native’s embarkment on a new direction follows his recent experiences in LA, as well as influences and sounds he’s picked up along his musical re-discovery journey which sees rap, electronic music and R&B collide.
