Los Angeles via Detroit indie pop performer Xelli Island crafts quirky music that is easily infectious as it is unique. Her latest single entitled “Bad For You” feature colorful soundscapes, Grimes esque vocals and a cinematic vastness rarely heard in today’s pop scene. The accompanying visuals feature Xelli Island herself exploring the depths of the desert.

“Bad For You” is off of her EP Meet Me At The Waterfall which also was released this month. The collection of songs feature such themes as lust, appreciation, living in the moment, and how delicate nature is and how as humans we need to cherish it.
