Exodus Part 2 Now Out from Cinematic Rockers DateMonthYear

Stand Alone Genres from DateMonthYear…A crossover of Visual Music  Cinematic Rock from Just West of Down Under … the land of the Kiwi’s New Zealand!

You were gobsmacked by Part 1  Now be prepared for ‘The Exodus Suite, Part 2: Air’

DateMonthYear, the eclectic and forward-thinking music experience from Hamilton, New  Zealand, is proud to announce the release of stage two in a new work, called “The  Exodus Suite”

The Exodus Suite’ is a collection of five Soundscapes/ Ambient music pieces with attendant video interpretations. The music has been written and produced by DateMonthYear founder and mainstay Trevor Faville, mixed in America by Martin Porter,  and mastered back in Hamilton by Andi Verse.   Faville explains” the Exodus Suite is proving to a very rewarding creative experience not only in making Soundscape/Ambient/ Electronic music but in the process of  allowing directors’ creative freedom to interpret as they wish”

The second installment is called “Air “and is directed by longtime DateMonthYear associate Kathleen Christian, who has directed previous videos for the songs ‘Exodus’,  ‘Numbers’ and ‘Haunted’. Her take on the piece “Air” is a surreal, intense,  impressionistic experience, with a nod to the visual style of David Lynch. The music is influenced by Horror/Sci-Fi soundtracks, Musique Concrete, and is a challenging and hopefully disturbing listen.

The video is live on the DateMonthYear YouTube channel. The next in series is due December 1st.  DateMonthYear will be coming soon to VEVO with their own channel along with debuting on Vidzone
