Renowned Journalist Dominique Carson Announces Release of Jon B. Biography Celebrating his 25 Years in Music

Journalist Dominique Carson announces the release of her biography on amazing R&B artist Jon B entitled “Jon B: Are You Still Down?” This effort explores the 25-year career journey of R&B legend Jon B. and his rise to stardom, successes, and failures that lead him to become one of the most renowned artists in his genre.

Throughout the biography readers will discover many exclusive facts about Jon B. including his experience as the last artist to collaborate with Tupac, his working relationship with Babyface, his tumultuous journey as a signed artist to Matthew Knowles’ record label, and the racial hurdles he faced as a White male emerging to fame in a majority-Black genre of music.

As the book’s author, Dominique ultimately aims to celebrate Jon B. and his trailblazing contributions to R&B that have been overlooked for several years.

“This biography will remind people that Jon B. opened doors for other R&B Caucasian singers to have mainstream success…It has been 25 years since Jon B. released his debut album and he is still known all over the world. It is also the Jordan year, “23,” for the Cool Relax album as well, so I figured this would be the ideal year to write the biography,” says Carson.

Jon B. still remains relevant today with his work being sampled by some of the world’s biggest artists in R&B and Rap including Chris Brown, Drake, and Brockhampton.

“Jon B: Are You Still Down?” has been endorsed by Jon B. himself. It is now available on Amazon
