0HUF Celebrates Lunar New Year with ‘Year of the Ox’ Capsule
Saying good riddance to 2020, HUF kicks off 2021 with its latest ‘Year of the Ox’ apparel capsule, celebrating Chinese New Year and the good fortune of a “better year on the horizon.”
Taking inspiration from traditional Chinese New Year memorabilia, the ox-themed capsule integrates ink wash painting and calligraphy across fleece, long and short sleeve tees, and socks treated with pops of lucky red and gold accents. Highlighting Chinese zodiac symbology, the Year of the Ox Pullover Hoodie and Short Sleeve Tee feature a monochrome ox against a HUF Triple Triangle mountain-scape. The Yoto Zen Ox Long Sleeve Tee nods to Eastern folktales and Zen poems, while the Yoto Ox Watercolor Short Sleeve Tee features the animal in stylized brushwork. Rounding out the collection are the Yoto Years Crewneck and Short Sleeve Tee complete with a list of zodiac Ox-years, as well as the Year of the Ox Crew Sock. An homage to the ox’s representation of enlightenment, the collection is fueled by a mission to return to society with wisdom and compassion.
Releasing today, January 14th, the Year of the Ox collection is available at the brand’s flagship stores and online shop.
