Emerging R&B Singer/Songwriter ROE Releases Dreamy Music Video in Time for Valentine’s Day “Fool 4 U”

Magnetic songstress ROE presents a romantic, picturesque 1950s performance with her sultry new visual for single “Fool 4 U.” Directed by Goldby7 (GIVEON, Curren$y, Corde77), the video gives an intimate feel of both old Hollywood and present day, transitioning from black and white film to technicolor. The single is taken off of ROE’s upcoming debut EP, releasing Spring 2021.

Bringing the romance just in time for Valentine’s day, “Fool 4 U” follows an infatuated ROE falling completely and utterly in love and finding herself hypnotised by a feeling she cannot shake.

Originally released January 22, the wildly successful single is her fastest growing record to date and has been fiercely embraced across DSPs with playlist adds to Spotify’s New Music Friday, Bedroom Jams, and The Newness, Apple Music’s New Music Daily, Breaking R&B, R&B Now, and Mood., and a myriad of others on Pandora, Tidal, YouTube, and Amazon. The single is also being spun on U.K. radio, including BBC.

Born and raised in Venice, California, ROE is a multi-talented artist and songwriter for Universal Music Publishing Group. The songstress boasts rich, mellifluous vocals and after years of working as a songwriter behind the scenes, she has broken out to step into her truest form. Her new music sees her blending rich, magnetic melodies reminiscent of classic R&B and the likes of Mariah Carey with bright, modern production that fits just right for the LA-native.

ROE has written for top artists such as Mary J. Blige, Usher, Normani, Kiana Ledé, Teyana Taylor, City Girls, Kash Doll, and more and has penned songs for hit TV shows like Empire and Star. She has also lent her talents in collaborations with artists such as Sachi, The Him, and dance legend Tiësto, with even more big features to come.
