Sky Banks- @skybanksmusic

Straight out of Flatbush, Brooklyn,  Sky Banks is an up and coming female rapper who started recording music around the age of 15. Sky says her passion for music and writing was a perfect way to separate her from being in the streets and a great way to verbally express her pain and experiences. She then continued to grow and receive features from Jay Critch, Bizzy Banks which is unreleased and Pasto Flocco. Sky Banks grasps her audience with catchy, bold yet blatant sounds like shown in her new single “Get Around”.  Artist, Sky says ‘get around’ explains life in the hood but the song is a still banger with its rhythmic beat. Without a doubt, Sky Banks is an artist to be on the lookout for.  You can expect new singles along with visuals as well as promotion as she works her way into the industry.

Jayyvenchy- @jayyvenchy

Meet Jayyvenchy an up and coming artist from Brooklyn, NY. After the passing of his father and the incarceration of his mother, Jayyvenchy tapped into his musical talents. Still nothing was concrete enough to officially become the artist you view now. JAYYVENCHY AKA “Mr. Bling locked himself into the music world once Covid-19 took place. Fast forward to 2020, Jayyvenchy lost his Mom unfortunately due to COVID and his last conversation with his mom was his first day in the studio. With that being said, he figured he’d give music an official try and start as a tribute to his lost parents (James and Vanee Sykes). His first debut single “Sticky” ft. Qua Mula was released on all platforms Oct 31st in 2020. His first single gave chills to those who knew Jayyvenchy outside of music and those who were just introduced. He says this single will be “a hidden gem until the wraith of Jayyvenchy is felt within the trap world”. The hook quickly grabs your attention instantly while getting hypnotized into the melody of the beat. Jayyvenchy then followed up with another release song titled “ POPPING TAGS” ft A.brayz. With lyrics like “ Louie V , YSL I’m poppin tags , Dolce Gabbana then Dior I’m spending cash go Gucci store go Prada store I still got cash , look at they face look at they face you know they mad!” This song definitely is the theme song for a designer junkie. While Jayyvenchy is just getting his feet wet, he was able to quickly grasp the attention from Instagram listeners within his hometown and out of town. On January 16, 2021 Mr. Bling opened for well known artist Money Man in Orlando, Florida at Tier night club. It was an instant success in Jayyvenchys career. With catchy phrases like BLING, it was without a doubt to have the crowd lit! His new single ‘ROSE ROYCE’ is a play on words. The concept of the song is simple “an insight of the day and life of Jayyvenchy aka “ Mr.Bling”. Look out for his next singles “Handling business” and “New VV” which are set to drop next month and shake up the music scene along with some fire visuals.

Arianna Marie- @ariannamarieofficial

Arianna Marie is a singer/songwriter  born and raised in New Rochelle, NY whose been singing professionally for about 5 years now. She says there is no meaning behind her stage name but that Arianna Marie is outspoken, ready for the lime light and not afraid to shine. Her inspiration for her new single ‘like that’ which was produced by P dub the producer  was a past lover. She says she was in a situation with a guy that she dealt with and he swore that he had it “like that” and she had to let him know that he didn’t. Arianna states her single is a  reminder to people to make sure the person you’re talking to is on the same page. You can look out for Marie’s second  project which is set up release in 2021 along with merch, candles and bigger investments into herself as an artist.

Cheeche Lovato- @_cheechethesinger

Cheeche Lovato is a Brooklyn based singer who has been singing since a kid but started making music at 16. Her journey started at a young age with talent shows, singing competitions and high school choirs. With three EP’s under her belt and a few singles and music videos you can describe her sound as a mixture of mid 90s and early 2000s R&B with a hint of alternative. Lovato gives us a snippet of softly passionate yet sexual described someone that you can truly vibe with without strings. This year Cheeche says you’ll be seeing a lot more of her from singles to visuals. Her latest EP consisting of 7 tracks which dropped in December titled I Guess You Know Now is available on all streaming platforms and definitely to give you nothing but vibes. She is also set to be dropping her first album in July and following it up with virtual concerts in the spring.

ThatKidVee- @thatkiddvee

ThatKidVee is known for his creative video concepts and relatable themes, which is continually being shown is his work. Vee’s overall goal is having his audience get an old-school vibe when listening to these songs while also allowing them to feel the vulnerability he’s giving off in his music. Although he’s a young man, he’s still making mistakes and wants to give his listeners a different perspective while also changing the narrative that young men can’t be vulnerable. “Love, Nostalgia” is a teaser to ThatKiddVee’s debut EP which is dropping soon. 

KD The Moonchild- @iamkdthemoonchild

We’ve heard the saying, “so within, so without”, and KD The Moonchild is enlightening the people and encouraging self healing through her music to her audience. The 27-year-old Mississippi born rapper has seen pain in many different forms, but never once did she decide to succumb to the moving pieces we call life. Transforming the energy of the past into a flourishing future, KD is continuing her spiritual growth and mission to help heal others by way of frequency healing, through music. Moonchild is also a spiritual counselor, Tarot Reader & Owner of the Youtube Series : Moonchild Mystery Show. The Moonchild’s sound is as direct and weighted as trap, yet light and ethereal in the manner in which she approaches each song. Having experienced a life with a highly musical mother who nurtured KD’s natural abilities through acting, modeling, and pageants, the Mississippi rapper continued on performing and found a home in Atlanta . Ronnie Lott- @imronnielott

Ronnie Lott is a 28 year old urban pop artist. Ronnie grew up listening to the sounds of ‘Ready for the World’ and countless other groups thanks to his father. After debuting his 2016 full-length album, Nothing Is Forever Ronnie followed up with a sophomore effort, Word on the Road in which both were  produced by Joshua Douglas. Originally from Texas, Ronnie Lott moved to New York City where he was surrounded by classic East Coast Hip-Hop. Submerging himself into the city’s music scene, Ronnie draws influence from the likes of Biggie, Jay’z and Mase. Blending these old-school sounds with smooth R&B melodies, Ronnie has set himself in a league of his own with ‘Tease’ which to him and his camp is his best track yet. Listeners can expect a followup project later this year – and be on the lookout for another single dropping this summer!

Bankline Rich- @bankline_rich

Bankline Rich is an emerging multi talented emcee. Born and raised in Northside Queens, New York, he grew an interest in music at an early age.  Growing up his family influenced his music selection. From Michael Jackson to Prince he was raised on timeless and substantial music. In high school he began to listen to artists that influenced his sound like: 50 Cent, Lil Wayne and Gucci Mane. At eight years old, he attempted to write his first rap song about his old sister. He would recite the lyrics to people in the neighborhood who enjoyed it.At eleven, he recorded his first song in the studio. After receiving positive feedback he decided to self educate himself on how to make authentic music. His first mixtape titled, The Takeova was released in 2007 and hosted by DJ Superstar Jay. This diverse artist writes, records and mixes all of his music. Being a graduate of audio engineering gave him an advantage on understanding his sound and delivery by experimenting. In 2019, he launched his independent recording label, Bankline Records, he dropped a compilation project called, “Year of the Bank” that contributed to his buzz. His unique sound is a witty rhyme pattern mixed with catchy hooks. His original sound is attributed to his particular distinct voice. His ultimate career goal is to take his label to the next level and provide opportunities for other artists to excel. He is currently working on  his upcoming project titled Pardon My Rich Behavior. As we anticipate the release of the next project Richie Richer continues to make his distinctive mark.

Nyce Da Beast- @nyce_dabeast

Born in Kingston, Jamaica, Nyce Da Beast is an upcoming independent artist. Raised in Florida she began to write music at ten years old, as an outlet to express herself. Shortly after she purchased a mic and began to perfect her craft. Heavily influenced by artist like Missy Elliot and Future she always had a passion for music. This is My Life was the first project she released last year that contributed to her making a name for herself. Nyce received positive feedback that helped her to remain focused and determined to make substantial music. Her unique sound quickly grabbed people’s attention and ears. She then launched, Black Rock Star which is a lifestyle brand based off of good energy and vibes. Her ultimate goals are to make timeless authentic projects that motivate and bring people together in positive ways. To also create opportunities for the younger generation to accomplish their goals. With all the noise this talented emcee has been making she is surely proven she is a force to be reckoned with.

Stiles- @starboystizzle

Stiles is an artist Coming from Darby Township, Pennsylvania, a small town on the outskirts of Philadelphia. He started writing and recording music for fun, before we knew we could be stars in this, before the money plagued the minds of those searching for a new hustle. He just fell in love with the art of it. Being able to express ourselves through writing rhymes and displaying our stile (no typo) on beats. The year 2020 has been crazy for us all but for him, it’s been his most active year as a recording artist. Releasing numerous singles and two official music videos along with remaining Covid free. What a time. On January 26th, 2021, he released his debut album titled, The Big Six. A twelve track project that highlights who he is as an artist and also displaying how good of an ear he has for production and sequencing. The song picked for pressplaylists is titled “XSE”. When this song was recorded, Stiles says he knew we was headed in the right direction —raw and real bars paired with great production by King Will The Third, and we can’t forget about Justin “Slow Wav” Miller, who has been largely instrumental in creating this body of work. Stiles is also set to be releasing the official video for ‘XSE’ directed by himself, Rick Nyce and Freebandz films.

Cheauv- @cheauv

Cheauv the first is a vocalist and songwriter from Portmore, Jamaica. He started consuming music when he moved to New York. It was a friend who was impressed with his playlist selections, that suggested he should make music, and he’s been writing ever since. It wasn’t until January of this year, he decided to release one of those projects, a single called TeleViV. A song drenched in emotion, smooth vibes, and impeccable wordplay, which is a reflection of his sound. TeleViV talks about his past infatuation with a woman that’s drowning in narcissism. The story is told from a point of reflection, hence the phrase “the 9 night”. The 9 night is a Caribbean tradition that reflects on the life of someone that has passed. In this case, he’s reflecting on how he felt about this woman and how his feelings for her are now dead. His next release will be scheduled for June as he focuses on finishing up his last semester at Oakwood University. Stay tuned.

Cudi P- @cudi_p

Moving from Youngstown, Ohio to Los Angeles, California in 2020, the groundbreaking artist better known as Cudi P has embarked on a musical journey sharing his story. He began writing poetry at the young age of seven years old. Recommendations from his mother and Def Poetry Slams motivated him to start rapping only at 12 years old. This would later initiate the high school collaboration “Freshman Frenzy” which quickly gained traction around the city sparking Cudi’s rap career. A Football star granted an opportunity to play for Moorepark University, he would soon enough put down the pigskin to grab a firm hold of a microphone. After leaving his previous independent label, P is now creatively liberated while compelled to showcase his bars and lyrical ability on his new project titled, Since 96’ which is projected to be released in early 2021. “I started rapping when I was 9 years old with my friends in school and I started taking it seriously and starting writing them down when I was 12 I started to make music with my brothers Beez, and Tyrus. But it was an escape me a way for me to express myself a way for me to talk to people because before I was shy, never wanted to talk to anybody until I started rapping that’s when people wanted to get to know me. My inspiration honestly was seeing my mother work and support us, I always knew I wanted to be the provider and be able to make sure my mama good, and the people around me good. Ain’t nothing like helping ya people. I decided to name my tape Since ‘96 cause that’s when everything started, I was born in 1996, that’s when it was written, I had some bs going on in the past, I ain’t really gone speak on but it made me realize this shit been in me! Youngstown, Ohio. That’s home, that’s where it all started, Youngstown made me, and you hear it in my music. It can be a love/hate relationship because I lost a lot there and made a lot there.” With his unique sound and creative flow we now anticipated the release of his newest project, Since 96 – which is scheduled to be released at the end of this month. This project is to motivate and inspire everyone to accomplish their goals and never stop chasing your dreams. Cudi enjoys making motivational music that we all can relate too. Make sure to look out for Cudi P in this year, with follow up singles and videos on the way after the release of Since ‘96 . In the meantime, the project is available for pre-save.

Lil Steam- @steamnyc

Lil Steam, born and raised in Long Island New York never thought of making music until the beginning of 11th grade in high school due to a couple of his friends already on the music scene. Steam was exposed to another world of life. In 2018 Steam had dropped Memories, A single that caught Fire throughout the island expanding the audience that listened to Steam. He Soon After Dropped How We Do Featuring King Clutch. The Two created TenThouDown which they say, “It’s a Way of Life, A code we live by”. Steam continued His spark of fire by various performances at Venues scattered across Long Island Brooklyn, Queens and Manhattan. Polo Hayes a friend, Manager and Mentor of Lil Steam assisted Steam on being played On One of the Hottest Radio stations In New York Hot 97.1, From there the attention of Steam started to grow drastically. Lil Steam has a melodic and a vibey Sound. He continues to work on his craft experimenting with different type of sounds for an example “Wait A Minute” which is a beat banging aggressive tone Another Example of Lil Steam playing and trying different sounds is “Me and Momma”. The lyrics explain the living situations Steam had went through with his single mother, Lil Steam’s Biological father was not always around his life which made going through life tough for him and his mother. “So Gone” One of Lil Steam’s Recent Singles as stated has a melodic vibe to it. Steam speaks on what seems a Heartbreak and expresses hatred to his ex. Steam stated that “So Gone” was wrote in two perspectives, himself and His ex-girlfriends. Lil Steam continues to Work Hard practicing and mastering his craft with his upcoming single “Boss Up” Also Steam mentioned that he is working a Mixtape “Steamy Showers” which includes Upbeat Tracks that will make you want to jump around with excitement, as well as tracks that make you feel his pain and possibly relate to the events that went on his life.
