Lil Squick – The Evolving Prodigy from Orlando

Lil Squick started his musical journey early this year in January of 2021 and has already won the ears and hearts of many young listeners with his beat production and lyrical rhyme style. When asked what the underlying source of inspiration was, the Orlando resident said that he drove his inspiration from his cousin and Pooh Shiesty. Hailing from a rough family background, the musician has seen some grey patches while being homeless, staying at hotels, and watching domestic abuse unfold between his parents.

As an escape from the domestic abuse, Lil Squick dabbled into the musical world by getting a kick out of watching his friends hit the studio and having a cathartic outlet of raw emotions while describing their daily struggles. Taking into their footsteps, Lil Squick discovered that he could truly let loose while making music and singing, relating to many young people’s struggles.

Every listener can hear his struggle and how he help’s people try to get through them each day, one after one. The struggling music artist reveals that many young people can relate to his music because they feel like it has been written and sung for them. The music provides them with the much-needed outlet for their inner struggles, aggression, anxiety, and depression.

While promising that new music will come out soon, the aspiring artist vows that his music will be a source of inspiration to many as his growing fan base will relate to real music filled with raw emotions and real struggles. He is immensely happy and feels blessed to be signed at the age of 15 – a rare sight to see in the music industry.

Currently, Lil Squick is working with the label – NoConvo, which, he is positive, will set the bars and reach the higher expectations of his fan base. He, though, wishes that someday he could collaborate with Pool Shiesty, who has been a massive influence on the musician’s slick hip-hop beats. While still adapting to a new world of countless opportunities that are providing Lil Squick with the perfect platform to release his music, the musician swears that if anyone else were to walk in his shoes, they would see his people’s struggle.

The artist wants his audience to know and recognize him for his path to success with the message for everyone who is having a rough patch in their life, to just get going, get moving until they reach the point where they feel proud of themselves and how far they have become in life. Categorizing himself as a society and life-conscious rapper, Lil Squick represents the struggle, poverty, and raw condition of the world.

At such a young age of 15, Lil Squick is truly phenomenal and living proof that young creative minds aren’t necessarily influenced by drugs and girls and can tap on the more sensitive issues of our world, including real-life struggles.
