Continuing his swift ascent as one of rap’s hottest superstars, hitmaking hip-hop artist Moneybagg Yo unleashed a new single entitled “Go” with Big 30 — the buzzing Memphis spitter who like Moneybagg is also signed to N Less Entertainment, in a partnership with Moneybagg’s own Bread Gang Entertainment.

Listen to the track released via CMG/N-less Entertainment/Interscope Record below.

As part of the launch of the new single, Bagg also announced the forthcoming release of his fourth full-length studio album, A Gangsta’s Pain, will arrive on April 23. Pre-order and pre-save A Gangsta’s Pain – one of the most anticipated hip-hop projects of 2021 to date – HERE.

With the release of “Go,” Moneybagg once again serves up an unapologetic and undeniable anthem. He tears through the production with his tenacious signature flow before Big 30 counters with an equally punchy cameo. Together, these two Memphis titans body the beat with head-nodding hooks and bold bars, providing a 21st century Southern rap masterclass.

Paving the way for A Gangsta’s Pain, the new release follows MoneyBagg’s recent single “Hard for the Next” featuring Grammy award-winning artist Future. In addition to plugs from Pitchfork, Complex, HipHopDX, and more, Brooklyn Vegan noted, “Memphis rapper Moneybagg Yo continues to rise and remains prolific. The song has gathered 6 million-plus Spotify streams and 6.7 million YouTube views and counting on the music video since its release in late-March.

Meanwhile, the album will also include “Time Today,” which just officially received Gold certification by the RIAA. Beyond accumulating 30 million-plus streams, the track scored a spot on the Billboard’s Hot 100, received praise from Complex, Consequence of Sound, XXL, among others, helped him land a spot on the cover of Spotify’s Rap Caviar playlist.

Moneybagg also recently received a major co-sign from Grammy-winning hitmaker Pharrell, who said “Moneybagg is my favorite, favorite, favorite, right now” on the OTHERtone podcast. He also found himself at the forefront of yet another viral moment. A meme circulated after President Biden signed the $1.9 trillion COVID relief package and the internet referred to him as Moneybagg Joe. This quickly led to a trending spot on Twitter and national coverage on The Beat with Ari Melber, watch the clip HERE.

Moneybagg Yo cemented himself as a star in 2020, starting with the release of his acclaimed album, Time Served. The star-studded project featured collaborations with Future, Da Baby, Lil Baby, Megan thee Stallion, Summer Walker, Fredo Bang and more, garnered critical acclaim from Forbes, Hypebeast, Billboard (“Best Rap Albums of 2020”), among others and debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 albums chart (his highest debut yet). He also shared the deluxe version which included seven new tracks and new features from Lil Baby, Big 30, Big Homiie G and Rylo Rodriguez. Together, both projects amassed over two-billion streams globally. Soon after he teamed up with Blac Youngsta for their collaborative project, Code Red,  which  sold over 40 thousand equivalent album units in its first week and debuted in the Top-10 of the Billboard 200 chart – Bagg’s fourth time attaining that achievement. The project received massive praise from several media outlets including The Fader who called it “a balanced bundle of Southern gangsta rap anthems” and Billboard who praised the two – “Memphis continues to be a breeding ground for talented rappers.” The mixtape features Bagg standout hit, “Said Sum” (NPR and XXL “Best of 2020”) and the remix, which he teamed up with City Girls & DaBaby on. The irresistible, clap-back anthem reaped support from Pitchfork, Complex, Variety and inspired a viral TikTok challenge with everyone from Sasha Obama and Charli D’amelio participating. The original song has been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (over half a billion global streams) reached the #1 spot at Urban radio and serves as his third record to reach platinum status alongside, “All Dat,” and “U Played.”
