Pastel Papi Is Heating Up The Summer With New New Single “Tweakin”

Pastel Papi (@icreateshit) is an independent artist who’s making waves. He recently dropped a new track, called “Tweakin,” which is a catchy song that revolves around the concept of someone who’s made loving them difficult. The multi-faceted song showcases Pastel Papi’s abilities as an artist, and positions him as someone who’s hear to change the game.

Born Davon Lavor, the multi-faceted artist grew up “between wealthier and poorer neighborhoods” in deep South Central but often traveled in and out of his neighborhood. Growing up in Los Angeles gave him a perspective that exposed him to many different cultures, lifestyles, and sounds at an early age.

He had a unique upbringing that ultimately shaped who he is and why he got into music. 2017 is when the artist started to take music seriously and began to see it as an option for a career. He’s made it clear that music is his true passion because of the way it has the ability to curate people’s emotions.

“Sound is just so beautiful, like if to me just the sound in general is crazy,” Pastel Papi said in a recent interview. “I like making noise and expressing myself through the noise … Making people feel something through the music inspires me.”

In 2020, he dropped an EP called ‘Maybe Tomorrow,’ which featured some catchy bars and a diverse set of instrumentals with influences from Afrobeats to R&B that result in a perfect starting point for such a creative talent.

Pastel Papi has no plans of stopping any time soon. As someone who is heavily creative and inspired by photography, art, and fashion, audiences can be sure to expect nothing short of great from this rising talent.
