NHL Star Tyler Seguin to Release Limited Series of Digital Collectibles (NFTs) by Fanaply

Tyler Seguin, NHL star forward on the Dallas Stars and 2011 Stanley Cup winner, announced today that he is launching a limited series of blockchain-backed digital collectibles, also known as non-fungible tokens (NFTs), created byFanaply.

“In a world that’s becoming increasingly digital – especially during these times – NFTs are a great way to be able to connect with fans on a new level. That can be through the opportunity for fans to own a limited-edition digital trading card essentially, or heighten the fan experience with unlockable content,” says Tyler Seguin. “We made sure to have a few different options that vary from more accessible NFTs to higher end or rare NFT’s, so that everyone could take part if they wanted to.”

There will be five different NFTs released for sale or auction beginning on May 17, 2021 at 12pm ET, all inspired by Seguin’s major comeback and success in the NHL. The drop will include:

  • Official First Cup Win NFT – which commemorates Seguin’s first Cup win during his rookie season in 2011, featuring the rare black and gold colors he only wore for two seasons, and includes a phone call from Tyler Seguin, if the $10,000 minimum bid is met

    • Auction ends on May 23, 2021 at 11:59pm ET
  • Official First Pro Goal NFT – which commemorates Seguin’s first professional goal in the NHL and includes a signed puck by Tyler Seguin

    • For sale at $200 per NFT
  • Official Tyler Seguin NFT – which illustrates Seguin’s various faces while proudly playing in the green jersey #91
    • 91 available (symbolizing Seguin’s jersey #91)
    • For sale at $50 per NFT
  • Official 40 Goals Puck NFT – which commemorates a career high milestone for Seguin, his 40th goal of the 2017-2018 season
    • 910 available
    • For sale at $19 per NFT for 48 hours only, ending May 19, 2021 at 12pm ET
