wifisfuneral Drops “Where I’m Going” Video and Announces ‘Smoking Mirrors’ EP

wifisfuneral just announced his new project Smoking Mirrors EP and dropped the video for the first single “Where I’m Going”.  Smoking Mirrors EP is set to release May 28th via Alamo Records!

The follow-up to his acclaimed 2020 project PAIN?, the Smoking Mirrors EP is a wavy and tuneful trip into wifi’s mind, confronting his demons head on. The EP juxtaposes wifi’s dark night of the soul ruminations with in-depth examinations of wifi’s romantic entanglements, delivered in twisty, melodic flows. The EP features production from JetsonMade and frequent collaborator Nvbeel, who produced wifi’s fan-favorite “Peace Sign” ft. YBN Nahmir, among others.

Alongside the EP announcement, wifisfuneral just dropped the music video for “Where I’m Going.” “Where I’m Going” sees wifi blending his new and old styles, as he mixes auto-tuned warbles with fast-talking triplets to brag about getting money since his SoundCloud days. A tale told in reverse, the video finds wifi in the thrall of a beautiful woman, who takes the rapper on a journey in a bright-yellow foreign car before she vanishes into the wind.
