Domani Releases New Album ‘SKYDIVE’ Featuring Anthony Hamilton, Rapsody, D Smoke and More

First off I have to give Domani a shout out for recognizing the genius of Rapsody…it’s been a long time since we had a female MC this important to the culture. Everybody else on the project is dope and deserves respect as well but the Rapsody inclusion deserves a very special shoutout!!!

Atlanta rapper/label owner Domani releases his much anticipated album “SKYDIVE” today. Behind the meaning, Domani says, “It’s all about taking a leap of faith, but you don’t know if the parachute is going to open or where you’ll land.” Featuring fellow contemporaries like Anthony Hamilton and Rapsody on “Fallin”, South African rapper Nasty C on “Friends”, his cousin Shad Da God on “Burnout” (prod. Mike Will), Natalie Orfilia on “Domino” and Davionne and D Smoke on the focus track “I Know It’s Real.” This album has a wide palette of collaborators, and everyone has a cohesive energy packaged together.

The early feedback from “SKYDIVE” has been amazing, with official playlist support on all of the DSP’s. “Burnout” featuring Shad Da God was added as a First Alert on Sirius XM’s Hip Hop Nation this week, and everyone has fallen in love with that single. Shad Da God is Domani’s cousin, so that record means a lot to him, keeping it within the family.

Also the music video for “I Know It’s Real” ft. D Smoke just dropped this afternoon as well!
