Another excellent discovery of mine from this year’s Gotham Gets In Gear event, simply put, Hydro Flask makes double wall vacuum insulated stainless steel water bottles backed by a lifetime warranty. Its excellent temperature retention is said to be due to its proprietary TempShield technology, as said stainless steel prevent condensations and heat transfer to the outside of the bottle, keeping drinks hot or cold for hours on end. Available in a variety of sizes — the growler size is not its biggest — and colors, I foresee taking my new Hydro Flask on the sand in Long Beach for many summers to come.
