GRAMMY Award Nominee Masego to Bring Soul to the LIGHT Nightclub Stage

LIGHT Nightclub, located at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, has added GRAMMY Award nominee Masego to the venue’s stellar lineup of top artists with a scheduled performance Friday, April 1.

Micah Davis, known by his stage name as Masego, is a Jamaican-American musician and singer, who has made a splash in the music industry by blending saxophone into his genre-bending style. Mixing jazz, R&B, soul and funk into what he calls “Trap House Jazz,” the self-proclaimed “King of the Street Musicians” is a GRAMMY Award-nominated artist for Best Progressive R&B Album for his album, “Studying Abroad: Extended Stay.”

Masego released a collaborative extended play (EP), “The Pink Polo EP” with electronic dance musician Medasin in 2015, the song titled “Girls That Dance” was brought to popularity which led to the release of his own EP “Loose Thoughts” in 2016. In September 2018, he released his debut album “Lady Lady” followed by his GRAMMY Award-nominated EP. In 2021, Masego’s song “Somethin’ Ain’t Right” was featured on the inspired album for the award-winning feature film “Judas and the Black Messiah.” Masego also joined forces with Drake to create the single “Champagne Poetry” from Drake’s album “Certified Lover Boy.”
