NFE Luke – “Pharmaceutical (On The Floor)”
NFE Luke trapped with a familiar-but-catchy auto tuned-coated melodic sound and undeniable charisma, could we be seeing the next big thing in music coming out of the unexpected Montgomery, Alabama in emerging recording artist NFE Luke? It appears that way with the southern’s latest party drug anthem, “Pharmaceutical (On The Floor),” quickly arising to viral status in today’s underground music scene. The slow-tempo dance-ready track sees the rising star share his inner thoughts and eye-witness point-of-view of the night’s highlights while under the influence of prescription drugs.
For Luke, “Pharmaceutical (On The Floor)” was a surprise hit since its creation but used a real-life situation to draw inspiration. “I booked studio time with no song planned,” he said in a press release. “Usually I always have something planned. I say about 15 minutes before I was heading out the house to come up with a song I ran across that beat. And literally, that song came to my head. It gave me this deep feeling inside that reminded me of the wild nights I use to have with my people whenever we went out to have a good time. I freestyled the entire song.”
He continued: “Me and my homie was prescribed opioids from the doctor and we actually enjoyed the feeling it gave us legally. Mainly I wanted people to understand is if they popping a pill then don’t get it off the streets actually take what’s prescribed. Those pills on the street is not pharmaceutical.
Luke’s latest release kick starts the plan for a breakout year and the release of a forthcoming mixtape. “I plan for this year to be my “big break” something like when an artist is introduced to the world and goes viral. Like when Soulja Boy blew up with Crank Dat.” “Pharmaceutical (On The Floor),” out now via Nfinity Forever Entertainment, is the perfect origin point for any newfound fan.
