Meet American Latino Gospel rapper Abraham Geovanni
Abraham Geovanni is an American Latino Christian hip-hop and rap artist based out of South Norwalk, Connecticut. Beginning his current career as a teenage recording artist all the way back in 2011 with his roots in performance arts dating back to his elementary, middle, and high school choir days, even been featured in some theater productions such as one of Romeo and Juliet in which he played Mercutio for St. Luke’s School. His whole life, he’s been fascinated and delighted by music, movies, and art. His childhood, career dreams of being a film director stem from movie nights with his family daily which also showed him all types of life humans live. Being aware of this, Geovanni became fascinated with learning more about people different from himself as well as making his own home movies. He credits his art teacher giving him an inspiring view of the imperfections in his life wherein he saw that it was those imperfections and differences within humans, himself and otherwise, that make all of them unique and purposeful. While it is true that the differences among humans make life interesting and meaningful, Geovanni likes to treat everyone with dignity and grace with little to no prejudice. This understanding combined with a deep and long personal journey over the past several years led him to where he currently stands for the purpose and being able to look past faults discovering the inner beauty of the world and its inhabitants.
Abraham has been rapping & making beats since he was 14. His music expresses personal embetterment through Jesus Christ. You will always feel joy, hope, & freedom in all his music as he talks about the saving power of God in his testimonies. Through upbeat percussive rhythms, flowing content and catchy melodic choruses, his music is soon to reach the top of the Billboard charts. In a paradigm of no paradigms it pays respect to the listeners inner voice through the channel of community in the essence of Pop Culture. Abraham states; “Ever since I was a child, I felt a heavy influence from Louis Armstrong’s “What A Wonderful World”. The First time I heard it was at an “All School Assembly” back in Elementary School. Can’t Remember what grade, but that Song changed my Life… Forever. Something about its essence made me want to be more compassionate with those around me and those not around me. Through the years that feeling has stuck with me, become a part of me, and is engraved in my heart. That might have been the first time I can recall, I felt hugged by the Holy Spirit through the power of the warm words of Louis Armstrong. Since that day I’ve been on a mission to spread Happiness through all my art. From music to my beliefs on Life.” Since the age of 15 Abraham has been putting into practice the gathering of giant social groups. From Recreational to Art & Media; both in person and online. This made him very well noticed in the cities of Norwalk, CT, East LA -Boyle Heights, LA Southern California, USC campus grounds, The San Fernando Valley & most recently in Ridgewood, Queens a community nestled away on the line between Queens & Brooklyn as well as Bridgeport, CT. He has a passion for bringing people together through his music for God. Over the past 5 years he has caught a lot of attention from Industry Names such as Kanye West, Kodie Shane, mingled with Bryann Trejo, Chiddy Bang & more. He also worked for a short time at a well known brand development company in the Hollywood area called ADBD who branded Will.I.Am. Of The Black Eyed Peas while taking off with his music career.
Now: Abraham Geovanni has now officially released his music<span style=”font-size: small;”> & others through all Music Streaming Services with Distribution by Hang Loose 1x, LLC. A Media Curator & Record Label created & produced by Abraham himself in 2014. His most recent project is the THISHOWIWORSHIP EP his first Gospel Rap EP & has been on tour promoting the EP and his talents. He has already crossed off 3 dates and made a public appearance at the Gospel Hip Hop Awards in Atlanta Georgia. With much support from the industry and the local communities in and out of the states his music is blooming and becoming the voice of the urban young adult culture.
