Ghana’s Amerado Enlists Lasmid For Afrobeats-tinged Single “Grace”

Ghanaian music sensation Amerado has shared the new single “Grace,” featuring Lasmid, off his forthcoming LP.

The track opens up with gentle xylophone keys. With its lush, enveloping sound and captivating rawness, “Grace” is a brave, invigorating piece of music that pushes the boundaries. Amerado’s commanding vocals on the track speak of his experience on the streets from grace to grace, while Lasmid, the rapper-turned-singer, delivers a melodic chorus.

The Cyrus Jaybel-produced tune was mixed and mastered by Future Mix. The visuals for “Grace” were directed by Bra Shizzle of Sh1 Studios. Amerado, who combines Afrobeat and Hip-Hop elements, is gaining popularity around the world. His songs “Sika Dam,” “Metua,” “Obiaa Boa,” “Back To Sender,” and “Abotre” drew a lot of attention, with the latter receiving over 2.7 million YouTube views.
