Samantha XO: Behind the Music!
Samantha XO is a music producer from a small town in Western Kentucky who grew up in the tri-state area on the Ohio River where Cincinnati, Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana meet.
Her motivation is her family—her parents always prioritized music appreciation since she was a little girl, inspiring her to pursue a musical career.
In 2021 she expanded her musical skill set to include production. Within a few months she already released her first track, “The Look,” — a tech house single that is now available across all platforms.
Samantha expressed her passion in electronic music, with some of her musical influences being Tiesto, Paul Oakenfold, and John Summit.
She currently has an EDM remix of “Big Energy” by Latto underway with her production team: just herself and her co-producer/manager/fiancé Michael Venezuela. Very impressive independent strides for an up and comer.
Aside from EDM, Samantha has a wide appreciation of good music. She dreams of working with legendary hip hop producers such as Scott Storch, Dr. Dre, and Snoop Dogg — with a vision like this, the possibilities are endless!
Samantha also has her eyes set on touring festivals around the world as a DJ; if you haven’t yet heard her melodic remix of “Love is a Battlefield” feat. Pat Benatar or her EDM remix of “Dreams” feat. Stevie Nicks and Red Hot Chili Peppers, keep an eye out for them!
