South Korea’s Layer One is a staple in the SoundCloud World
Layer one is an up and coming artist and producer from Seoul South Korea. His debut album “awkward expressions are welcome” dropped back in 2020 during the pandemic. The production is handled mainly by himself along with various other Korean artists and collaborations. Layer one began making music in 2016, with a heavy influence from Epik High and Daft Punk. SoundCloud is where you can see the most traction from Layer One’s early days up untill now. He continues to collab, produce, and repost some of the underground’s hottest hits. Layer ones first ever track he produced was for popular Rhodesia Island artist Gizmo. He has also worked with Grim Doza. There’s plenty of new music to look forward too with an upcoming beat tape entirely self produced.
